ASER Convention Center Power Plant

Jones Lange Lasalle approached us to design and present our solution to installing radiators and associated pipework, this was due to the existing heat exchanger/cooling towers located alongside the Torrens being demolished.
DGS where award the project due to being the most innovative and cost affordable solution.
The existing HV Detroit generators used a Lincoln heat exchanger, being integrated into a cooling tower this gave the engines sufficient cooling capacity during any running event.
DGS designed a closed loop cooling system to include new radiators, sized to meet the existing engine cooling requirements. The stainless-steel pipework was routed to the new radiators and integrated into the existing control system.
The finished project saw the customer extremely impressed to where the radiators were located, with minimal impact on existing plantroom space but still allowing adequate maintenance access.
